Receiving Notification About a Property

You can mark specific properties for easy retrieval and notification. You can ask to receive e-mails about selected properties when anything changes with that property in the VPD database; for example, if historic environmental data is changed or added or the property becomes a part of a remediation project.

Note: This panel and the options on it are available to all users except unregistered Guest users.

To receive property notifications:

Add the property you are interested in to your list of properties.
Access the My Properties panel.
Select the Notification check box next to the property you want to receive notification. If the property data is edited in the database, you receive an e-mail notification alerting you to the change.

Note: The e-mail contains a link to the SPEED portal. When you click on the link, the map is zoomed to the property location and the property information dialog displays for the property.
