The SPEED (Searchable Property Environmental E-Database) portal is an application providing public access to environmental remediation and other information for certain properties in New York City.

It allows you to easily view current and historic data for 3,151 vacant privately owned properties in the City that were zoned for commercial or manufacturing uses in 2009. It also provides tax lot information, aerial photos, and historic maps for all areas of the City.

What can I do with SPEED?

• Use key map options to zoom in and out on the map, move the map, get more information on something, save a map, measure distances, add circles with measured radii to the map, or view an aerial photo of the map
• See property information such as vacant property information, historical data, and state and federal program information
• Locate properties by creating a basic or advanced search
• Save properties, add notes, and receive notifications (if registered user)

How do I quickly get started using SPEED functions?
